At The Architecture Symposium: All Eyes on Brisbane, Anna O’Gorman presented 101 Small Acts: A Neighbourhood Olympics.

The talk proposed a different way of thinking about Brisbane 2032—one where the city’s legacy is shaped not only by major venues, but by a constellation of small, community-led interventions across neighbourhoods. From places of shade and gathering to pavilions, river access and local upgrades, these modest acts could create a more distributed, enduring and human-centred Olympic legacy.

Together, they offer the possibility of a Games remembered not only for its scale, but for the lasting value it brings to everyday life.
