Our Process
1 - Listen
Every project begins by listening intently to what matters most to your project’s objectives. How the space will actually be used, what challenges need solving and the small details that will shape how it feels later on. We take time here because early decisions carry the most weight.
2 - Research
Before design begins, we spend time understanding the place itself: the site, climate, landscape, community and the constraints that may ultimately become opportunities.
3 - Explore
Ideas are tested, discussed and refined collaboratively with you, stakeholders and when needed, the people who will eventually inhabit the space. This stage is about conversation as much as design. Listening intently, testing possibilities and working through ideas together towards a shared vision.
4 - Design
This is where the project starts to take real shape. Spatial planning, materials, documentation, consultant coordination and approvals all come together here. Whether collaborating with your existing builder or helping establish the wider team, we keep the project aligned and progressing smoothly.
5 - Deliver
We remain closely involved throughout construction to protect the integrity of the design and make sure the finished building reflects the original intent. The best outcomes come from staying present right through to completion.

Mostly councils, government agencies, community organisations and developers — civic buildings, social housing, schools, public spaces and cultural projects. We also work with private clients on homes and smaller projects where the fit is right.
How do fees work?

Fees are tailored to each project — usually fixed-fee or percentage-based, tied to clear stages. We design with cost in mind from the outset, and everything is in writing before you commit to anything.
